Quick Lube Tech (Entry Level) – Automotive
$12.50 per hour to start for qualified applicants!

Job Responsibilities

Perform multipoint inspections
Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors
Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or compressed-air powered grease guns
Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentiasl, rear axle housings and shackles
Check tire pressure
Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil
Add water to radiator and battery
Replace oil and air filters
Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct
Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals

Qualifications

Must meet dealership’s requirements for employment
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and information
Familiarity with all aspects of automotive repair/maintenance
Must have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissions
Prior experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice preferred
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Occasional exposure to inclement weather
Ability to operate an automobile
Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Service Technician – Automotive
Skilled technicians are in high demand. So to keep a good service tech, you have to treat them right. Here, you’ll work alongside some of the best in the business. You’ll also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing client and dealership vehicles while maintaining positive relationships with clients. We run an honest shop and need honest, hard-working techs. Only those who value integrity and ethics need apply. Job Responsibilities

Examine and diagnose vehicles
Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor  
Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman
Provide labor time estimates to service advisor
Monitor repair time and update service advisor regularly
Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
Assist in mentoring technician trainees
Attend company and factory training
Keep current with factory technical bulletins
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
Education and/or Experience
High School or GED. Trade school.
3 years or more mechanical experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Operator Driver License is a must.
609 A/C is a plus
Active ASE certificates are a plus.

Maintains error logs
Reconciles inventory schedules as assigned on a weekly and monthly basis
Reconciles and completes sales consultant payroll semi-monthly
Verifies Finance and Insurance (F&I) logs to accounting data before month-end
Processes rebates
Attends weekly department meetings
Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Controller and Assistant Controller
Education and/or Experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems
Diagnose vehicle concerns and communicate repair needs with Service Advisors
Perform quality inspections and test drives before returning vehicles to customers
Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs and provide repair estimates
Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Complete repair orders and required paperwork accurately according to dealership and manufacturer standards
Maintain required Stellantis training standards
Complete additional manufacturer training as new models and technologies are introduced
Perform test drives safely and in accordance with applicable speed limits and traffic laws
Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experienced Technicians

Minimum 2 years of automotive technician/line technician experience preferred
Stellantis experience preferred but not required
Experienced technicians with other domestic automotive experience are encouraged to apply
Driveability, electrical, suspension, and general repair experience valued
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
Must provide your own technician tools
Dealership provides required Stellantis special tools for recalls and service bulletins

Master Technicians
Master Technicians should have applicable Master Technician certification and completed manufacturer training certificates required for their specific manufacturer.

Training & Career Development
Technicians who have completed Stellantis Phase 2 or Phase 3 training may qualify for higher earning potential.
Technicians are expected to continue their professional development by completing additional manufacturer training as new models, systems, and technology are introduced.
A State Inspector License is a plus and may provide additional earning potential.

Valid driver's license required
Must have a good driving record and be insurable
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening, including MVR, drug screening, and background check

Service Advisor -  
Our Service Advisors are the face of our service department. That means greeting every customer with a smile and using your customer driven personality to understand their repair needs while making them feel confident that these repair needs will be met. You’ll also act as the liaison between the customer and our Service Technicians, ensuring you are keeping the customer up to date on repair times, estimates, and when the vehicle is ready for pick up. 
On a typical day, this will include: 

Upselling additional services using low pressure, high integrity methods
Providing accurate repair/maintenance estimates
Adhering to policies on vehicle care and operation

Wash customer cars and dealer inventory as needed

Service Advisor Trainee 
Our Service Advisor Trainees are the face of our service department. That means greeting every customer with a smile and using your customer driven personality to drive a positive customer service experience.
