Lube Technician – Automotive

Skilled Lube technicians are in high demand. So to keep a good service tech, you have to treat them right. At Gillman, you will work alongside some of the best in the business. You’ll also be responsible for maintanice on customer vehicles. As well as new car pre delivery inspections. We run an honest shop and need honest, hard-working techs. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform Maintenance and repair to automitive vehicles
  • Examine vehicles for needed Maintenance by performing digital MPI's
  • Communicate additional service requests to service advisor through digital MPI
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
  • Complete service work order documentation for completed work 
  • Nissan provides Factory training

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Operator Driver License

State Inspection License  (Increase in pay if you hve or get a stae inspection license, (GIllman will send you to state inspection class to get license and pay for class and training hours if you do not have license)

Compensation

Compensation is based on Realtive job experiance, tools, and state inspection license.

The company was founded by Frank Gillman when the first dealership opened on Milam Street in downtown Houston. Frank knew the importance of customer loyalty. Now run by Frank's Granddaughter Stacey Gillman, under her leadership, the Gillman Companies have grown to become one of the largest retail automotive groups in America.  And today, the third Gillman generation is active in the business.
