We are a growing company and are looking for talented, experienced reconciliation accounting clerk to join our team!
Reconciliation Accounting Clerk
MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION:
Chrysler South:
Reconcile extended warranty and insurance product reconciliations
Reconcile monthly floorplan statements
Reconcile inventory to dealer statements
Reconcile dealer reserve statements
Research and post certain transactions on weekly bank statement and monthly credit card statement as needed
Assist Office Manager with end of month closeout entries and calculations for financial statement and NCM purposes
Backup certain accounting clerk desks as needed specifically title clerk and deposit desks
Assist the Office Manager in overseeing certain schedules designated by the Office Manager.
Other duties that may be assigned
Corporate Services:
Reconcile certain weekly bank accounts and maintain bank and credit card reconciliation files for all stores and all accounts as assigned by the Chief Accounting Officer.
Assist with preparation of certain special projects that include but not limited to LIFO, Internal Labor, and Unclaimed Property for all locations
Other duties that may be assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Prior automotive dealership accounting experience preferred
Must be detailed oriented and possess good organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
Competent with computers, spreadsheets, and a calculator; willing to learn onsite system
Working knowledge of Word and Excel
Organize reports and reconciliations
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be eligible to work in the US
Must pass drug test and extensive criminal background screening
Motivated to go above and beyond the minimum standard
