We are a growing company and are looking for talented, Deposits / Cash Receipts Clerk to join our team at our Gillman Honda, Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram & Subaru stores in Houston, TX!

 

DEPOSITS / CASH RECEIPTS CLERK

 

MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION:


Verifies, reconciles, posts and processes the daily parts & service accounting totals for Honda, Chrysler, & Subaru stores. 

Verifies, reconciles, posts, and processes the daily finance deposit totals for Honda, Chrysler, and Subaru stores.

Verifies, reconciles, posts, and processes the general deposit totals including accounts receivable / credit department totals for Honda, Chrysler, and Subaru stores in addition to the management & other affiliated companies deposits.

Posts all daily credit card transactions for Honda, Chrysler, & Subaru stores.

Processes all petty cash vouchers submitted by Honda, Chrysler, & Subaru stores.

Handles all change orders submitted by Honda, Chrysler, & Subaru stores and coordinates change orders with our financial institution.

Handle e-mails and phone calls regarding deposits from sales, parts, service, body shop & other accounting staff members. 

Assist with credit card disputes related to Honda, Chrysler, & Subaru stores. 

Complies with federal, state and local law as we as company policy about safeguarding all information

Other duties as assigned

 


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


Cash handling experience

Dealership accounting experience preferred, but not required

Parts & Service accounting experience preferred, but not required

Must be detailed oriented and possess good organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines

Competent with computers, spreadsheets, and a calculator; willing to learn onsite system 

Working knowledge of Word and Excel

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Maintains professional appearance and neat work area

Must be eligible to work in the US

All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include extensive criminal background check, MVR, and drug screening

Motivated to go above and beyond the minimum standard
