We have three stores in the Rio Grande Valley of Harlingen & San Benito, Texas. We are a growing company and are looking for talented, extended warranty accounting clerk to join our team!
Extended Warranty Accounting Clerk
MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION:
Process extended warranty and insurance products new business contracts
Process the aftermarket products and monthly reconciliation worksheet
Assist customers and process cancellations; prepare checks for cancellation to customers and lienholders
Maintains the schedules and work the reconciling items on the reconciliations related to extended warranty/insurance
Backup the Harlingen Receptionist as needed
Backup the Sales Secretary as needed
Compiles with federal, state and local law as well as company policy about safeguarding all information
Other duties that may be assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Prior automotive dealership experience a plus
Must be detailed oriented and possess good organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
Competent with computers, spreadsheets, and a calculator; willing to learn onsite system
Working knowledge of Word and Excel
Organize reports and reconciliations
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be eligible to work in the US
Must pass drug test and extensive criminal background screening
Motivated to go above and beyond the minimum standard
