We currently have an opportunity available for a Used Car Technician. Qualified candidates will share our passion for great customer service and have a drive to go above and beyond the minimum standard. Used Car Technician Responsibilities:
Performs Safety or Certified 150 point inspections on all pre-owned purchases and customer trade-ins
Completes vehicle service requirements according to American Honda and Gillman guidelines
Maintains safe environment at all times, follows company's high level of standards and procedures
Keep stall clean at all times - Have thorough understanding of equipment operation for tire balancer, tire changer,
brake lathe, diagnostic scan tool, alignment machine
Ability to identify frame damage, body and paint damage
Demonstrates safe driving at all times while operating company and own personal vehicles
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities provided by the company; reading service publications and Honda self-study courses
Must to able to problem solve, be self-motivated, results driven, quality focus Understand equipment maintenance and safety management
Technician Qualifications:
2+ years or more used car technician experience preferred
Background in diagnostics and various makes and models
Must have a current Texas state inspection license
Must have a good driving record
Well versed on all makes and models, excludes high line vehicles
Must provide your own tools and maintain them
Must be authorized to work in the USA
All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
Must pass pre-employment screening to include criminal background check, MVR, and drug test
