Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk

JOB OVERVIEW:

We currently have an opportunity available for a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk. Qualified candidates will have previous experience with compiling and maintaining verified payable records, reconciling statements and issuing payment to vendors.

RESPONSBILITIES:

• Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval
• Prepares accounts payable checks
• Posts all open items in accounts payable on a daily basis
• Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files
• Reconciles statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules
• Analyzes vendor accounts
• Answers all vendor inquiries
• Assists in monthly closings
• Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
• Assists with special projects, as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of related experience (Automotive preferred, but not required)
• Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area
• Valid Texas driver’s license
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Must pass pre-employment screening including drug test and criminal background check
