Job Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

    • Processes warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
    • Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor
    • Posts credits received for payment of warranty claims
    • Follows up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims
      Files warranty documentation and maintains records as necessary

 

Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 years dealership warranty experience preferred, but will train qualified person with related skills
    • Ability to read, comprehend and write instructions and information
    • Professional personal appearance
    • Knowledge of automotive parts and systems preferred, but not required.
    • Basic computer skills and other office machines (copier, adding machine, telephone)
    • Must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include extensive criminal background check, MVR, and drug screening
