Gillman Auto Group is hiring an Accounting Manager to join our team and partner with the Dealership Controller in managing the accounting operations for three dealerships in Schertz, TX. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Dealership Controller to ensure timely and accurate financial records.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights for dealership leadership and corporate offices.
• Supervise accounting schedules, balance sheet accounts, and monitor expense accounts to identify profit opportunities.
• Assist with audits, including floorplan, sales tax, inventory, and manufacturer audits.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Promote cross-training to improve operational efficiency and teamwork.
• Maintain strong communication with the accounting staff, Controller, and General Manager.
• Serve as a mentor, fostering a positive work environment and motivating your team.
• Assist the Controller with projects and other tasks as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: Previous experience in automotive dealership accounting is required.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Reynolds & Reynolds or UCS software is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor, motivate, and lead by example.
• Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
