We are a growing company and are looking for extended warranty and billing clerk to join our team at Gillman Nissan Rosenberg! This is a temporary to full time position. 

 

Extended Warranty & Billing Clerk 

MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION:

 Process extended warranty and insurance product cancellations that come in through lender, customer and or warranty/insurance companies.

Pull folders, post checks and cancellations, and issue checks to lenders and customers.

Maintains the schedules related to extended warranty and insurance payable.

Review & check deals for compliance based on checklist

Posts vehicle sale transactions to accounting ledger

Prepare check requests for trade payoffs

Send contracts and payoffs to lenders

Maintain and update notes on various schedules as related to billing

Handle phone calls regarding billing requests

Maintains professional appearance and neat work area
Compiles with federal, state and local law as well as company policy about safeguarding all information

Backup Deposit Clerk when needed

Other duties as assigned

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


At least one year of accounting experience

Dealership accounting and administrative experience preferred, but not required

Must be detailed oriented and possess good organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines

Competent with computers, spreadsheets, and a calculator; willing to learn onsite system 

Working knowledge of Word and Excel

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Maintains professional appearance and neat work area

Must be eligible to work in the US

All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include extensive criminal background check, MVR, and drug screening

Motivated to go above and beyond the minimum standard
