We currently have an opportunity available for a Service Technician. Current Nissan Service manager was a service advisor and service technician with Gillman. Gillman has also been named one of the Houston Chronicle's Top 100 Workplaces for 7 years in a row! Service Technician Responsibilities:
Organizes work by reviewing daily requirements; checking and gathering supplies Completes vehicle service requirements by lubricating changing filters, tires and belts. Keeping coolant, window cleaner and tire air up to level Maintains safe environment, follows standards and procedures Stores and retrieves vehicles Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading service publications Completes Brake service, A/C service, Oil service, Transmissions, etc. Must be able to problem-solve, be self-motivated, results driven, quality focus, understand equipment maintenance and safety management
Technician Qualifications: 2+ years or more automotive technician experience preferred Background in warranty policies and procedures preferred All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include criminal background check, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
