Sales Manager Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
Local Houston Dealership is currently looking for an experienced New and Used Sales Manager for our Houston location. Qualified candidates will share our passion for great customer service and have a drive to go above and beyond the minimum standard. The key responsibilities for this position include providing test drives, explaining product performance, and following up with clients to encourage repeat business. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs and coordinates activities concerned with sales
Supervises sales people to ensure job is done completely and customers are happy.
Comes up with ideas to build business.
Minimizes wholesale loss.
Purchases/directs the purchase of used inventory.
Partner with the Financial Services department to develop and coordinate best practices for the most efficient and effective sales approach
In charge Building & maintaining a high performance sales team
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ Years’ experience with an automobile public company is preferred.
Proven sales record with previous automotive sales management required.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and/or employees.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
UCS experience is a plus.
Remain organized and focused in a fast paced environment.
Possess solid supervisory skills and superior communication and customer service skills
Must have a valid Texas drivers license
Must be eligible to work in theU.S.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing to include extensive background check, MVR, and drug screen
