Benefits Administrator

Job Overview:

The Benefits Administrator will perform daily transaction overviews to ensure benefits administration compliance, accuracy, and data integrity. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong problem-solving skills with strong technical and communication skills. Working knowledge of Payroll/Benefits and proficiency in ADP.

Responsibilities:

  • Process billing and resolve discrepancies with insurance providers.
  • Manage carrier connection files and take appropriate action to correct any issues with benefit enrollments and changes.
  • Advise and inform employees on the company’s benefits programs and leaves of absence.
  • Resolve benefit-related issues and respond to requests promptly.
  • Collaborate with Payroll and ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately.
  • Manager Company leaves of absence. FMLA, ADA, personal leave, disability.
  • Responsible for coordination of annual open enrollment meetings, changes, and requests
  • Create and prepare required reports, including census, enrollment summaries, and audit files.
  • 401 (K)- Maintaining plan information to include census preparation, regular auditing for missing addresses, beneficiaries, and yearly audits.
  • Process COBRA
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the department supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • ADP Workforce Now Preferred not required
  • 2-4 years’ Benefit experience
  • Working knowledge of 401 (K) plans testing, 5500, loans, and distributions.
  • Exceptional analytical and decision- makings skills
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of employee benefits and general payroll processes.
  • Strong work ethic and team player
  • A high degree of professionalism
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of management
  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $47,840.00 - $52,000.00 per year
