Receptionist - Gillman Subaru

The service cashier receives payments for service transactions and plays a key role in maintaining or creating customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
Computes customer bills.
Receives cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
Make changes and issues receipts to customers.
Provides cash refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise.
Operates cash register.
Reconciles cash drawer daily.
Refers customers who have questions about the work that is performed, additional maintenance or repairs, etc. to the services advisor or other appropriate individual.
Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
Maintains and files repair orders and rental forms; lists missing documents.
Closes all open invoices.
Assists the service department with telephone coverage.
Provides clerical assistance to the service department.
Works with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offers, their features and value, and any changes in price.
Maintains a professional appearance.
Keeps work area neat and clean.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ability to read, comprehend and write instructions and information
2+ years of experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Basic skills with computer and other office machines (copier, credit card machine, telephone, adding machine) necessary to perform the cashiering/clerical duties
Professional personal appearance
Ability to work well with customers and present a friendly, helpful attitude at all times
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include a criminal background check, MVR, and drug test
